New Orleans Bakery Heatmap: The Best Holiday Baked Goods

Holidays are the best time to indulge in baked goods, from the perfect buche du noel (yule log) to an impressive croquembuche (cream puff tree). Here are New Orleans' best bets for pleasing everyone at your impending office party, cookie swap, or simple breakfast with the family. There's a little something for everybody, from bagels to baguette with lots of sweet stuff in between.

Eater NOLA will also roll out a holiday confectionary map in the coming week as well, so do stay tuned for chocolates and candy galore. Also, please note that Beth Biundo Sweets and Windowsill Pies don't have actual retail shops, but are easy to find online. Also, Uptown fave La Boulangerie is not on the map as it will be closed a few weeks for renovations as Link Group takes over the operation.

Besh Group pastry chefs Kelly Fields and Lisa White will brighten any holiday shindig with their signature eggnog, pies, cookies and more goodies. Sides and breads will also be available to pick up for Christmas day.
